PREPARE FOR YOUR VISIT

COVID-19 UPDATE

What We're Doing to Keep Our Staff & Patients Safe

As we open for services, our top priority is the safety of our patients, our team, and our community. In order to do this, we have created certain operating procedures per CDC Guidelines.
  • Our Physician and Staff are wearing appropriate personal protective equipment during office hours to safeguard everyone’s health.
  • Office staff will be sanitizing surfaces throughout the office frequently
  • Scheduled patients only are to be in the office for their appointment. We ask that family members/guests remain in their vehicle. If you absolutely must have someone accompanying you to assist you with the visit, please limit it to one adult person.
  • Every patient will be asked screening questions to determine possible COVID-19 exposure before they come to the office and will have their temperature taken upon arrival. Any patient who has indicators of possible Covid-19 will immediately be rescheduled to a later date.
  • Our practice waiting room and appointment schedule has been configured to increase social distancing for the safety of patients and staff.
  • We strongly suggest that masks are to be worn inside our office at all times.
  • Please maintain the mandated 6-foot distance, when possible, from all staff and other patients while in the office.
We ask for your patience during this unprecedented era our nation is in. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation during this time.

At Sinkov Spine Center, we use Electronic Health Records for our patient's records. We believe that electronic record keeping helps us keep the focus on providing you with safe, high-quality care, not on filling paperwork. Completing your information electronically is important for the following reasons:

  • Providing accurate, up-to-date, and complete information about patients at the point of care
  • Enabling quick access to patient records for more coordinated, efficient care
  • Securely sharing electronic information with patients and other clinicians
  • Helping providers more effectively diagnose patients, reduce medical errors, and provide safer care
  • Improving patient and provider interaction and communication, as well as health care convenience
  • Enabling safer, more reliable prescribing
  • Helping promote legible, complete documentation and accurate, streamlined coding and billing
  • Enhancing privacy and security of patient data
  • Helping providers improve productivity and work-life balance
  • Enabling providers to improve efficiency and meet their business goals
  • Reducing costs through decreased paperwork, improved safety, reduced duplication of testing, and improved health
Electronic Health Records (EHRs) are the first step to transformed health care. The benefits of electronic health records include:
  • Better health care by improving all aspects of patient care, including safety, effectiveness, patient-centeredness, communication, education, timeliness, efficiency, and equity.
  • Better health by encouraging healthier lifestyles in the entire population, including increased physical activity, better nutrition, avoidance of behavioral risks, and wider use of preventative care.
  • Improved efficiencies and lower health care costs by promoting preventative medicine and improved coordination of health care services, as well as by reducing waste and redundant tests.
  • Better clinical decision making by integrating patient information from multiple sources.
